EKO HOT BLOG reports that Akosile listed the projects scheduled for commissioning to include the Ojota Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information Service building in Alausa, the Lagos State Multi Agency Complex, the Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle, the Maracana Stadium, and the Lagos Food Logistics Hub in Abijo.
He said, “Please join the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu to welcome President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to a two day working visit to our dear State. While here, the President will commission some of our iconic, transformative and legacy projects.”
Also confirming the visit, the Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, said the projects were designed to address key infrastructure needs across the state.
According to him, the Opebi Mende Ojota Link Bridge is expected to ease traffic congestion and provide alternative routes for motorists navigating busy corridors such as Allen, Opebi, Maryland, and Ojota.
Osiyemi said the Lagos State Geographic Information Service building would improve land administration through enhanced digitisation processes.
He added that the Multi Agency Complex would provide additional office space within the state secretariat, allowing more government agencies to operate from a central location.
The commissioner also stated that the Lagos Food Logistics Hub in Abijo would support agro trade by offering modern storage and trading facilities for agricultural produce.
On education, he said the Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle had been upgraded with new classrooms, Information and Communication Technology laboratories, and sports facilities to improve learning conditions.

Speaking on sports development, Osiyemi noted that the Maracana Stadium in Ajegunle now features 19 mini football pitches aimed at promoting grassroots sports and developing young talents.
