Speaking during the event, Ojo said the project forms part of ongoing efforts by the Authority to expand the nation’s housing stock in line with the housing agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
According to him, the new estate will deliver about 200 housing units, including 95 units of two-bedroom apartments and 100 units of three-bedroom terrace duplexes.
He explained that the development is being executed through a partnership involving the FHA, Greenpasture Homes Ltd, and Akkenog International Company Ltd, noting that collaboration between government and private investors remains key to solving Nigeria’s housing challenges.
Ojo stressed that the Public-Private Partnership model would continue to play a major role in the FHA’s housing delivery strategy across the country, adding that government alone cannot bridge the nation’s housing gap.
He also commended President Tinubu’s administration for ongoing infrastructural improvements, particularly the reconstruction of the Shagamu-Owode Road, which passes through the estate and is expected to increase the value and accessibility of the project.

The FHA boss appealed to residents and members of the host community to support the project and ensure a peaceful environment throughout the construction period.
Earlier in his remarks, the Executive Director of Estate Services and Chairman of the FHA Groundbreaking Committee, Arc. Ezekiel Nya Etok, praised the Federal Government’s efforts in the housing sector, expressing optimism that the current administration’s housing initiatives would leave a lasting impact across the country.
Giving an overview of the estate, FHA General Manager for Partnerships, Arc. Peter Okpanachi, described the project as one designed to provide comfort, security, and a serene environment for future residents.
Representatives of the partnering firms also reaffirmed their commitment to delivering the estate according to approved specifications and timelines.

Similarly, the Managing Director of Greenpasture Homes Ltd, Engr. Oloyede Oluwale, assured subscribers and prospective homeowners that quality delivery remains a top priority for the company.
He noted that the involvement of the FHA provides additional confidence that the project will be completed successfully without abandonment.
