Residents across several wards in Epe Division came out in large numbers as Abiodun Tobun and Wale Raji embarked on a ward-to-ward sensitisation and solidarity tour aimed at engaging residents, appreciating their continued support, and reaffirming their commitment to grassroots development.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the sensitisation tour, which attracted party faithful, community leaders, youths, women groups, artisans, transport unions, and market representatives, created an atmosphere of excitement across various communities as residents welcomed the lawmakers with cheers, songs, and prayers.
During the engagements across different wards, both leaders sensitised residents on the importance of unity, continuous grassroots participation, and sustained support for the developmental agenda of the All Progressives Congress within Epe Division.
Speaking during the tour, Hon. Abiodun Tobun appreciated residents for their loyalty and consistent support over the years, noting that the confidence reposed in them has continued to inspire more commitment towards service delivery and community development.
“We are here to appreciate our people, interact with them directly, and also sensitise them on the importance of continuity, unity, and sustained support for progressive leadership across Epe Division,” Tobun stated.
He further pledged to continue prioritizing quality representation, empowerment initiatives, infrastructural development, and people-oriented programmes capable of improving the welfare of residents across Epe Constituency I.
Also speaking during the sensitisation tour, Rep. Wale Raji reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining developmental projects and expanding opportunities for youths, women, traders, and vulnerable groups across Epe Federal Constituency.
According to him, the ward-to-ward tour was necessary to directly engage residents, appreciate them for their support, and further strengthen the relationship between the people and their representatives.
“Our people have remained supportive and committed over the years, and it is important for us to move closer to them, appreciate them, and reassure them that we remain committed to impactful leadership and continuous development,” Wale Raji said.
The lawmakers also used the opportunity to seek continued support from residents, emphasizing that continuity remains important for sustaining ongoing projects and attracting more developmental opportunities to Epe Division.
Community leaders and party stakeholders who addressed residents during the sensitisation tour commended both lawmakers for remaining accessible to the grassroots and consistently facilitating projects across communities.
Many residents expressed satisfaction with several infrastructural developments, educational interventions, empowerment programmes, healthcare projects, market development initiatives, road construction, and solar streetlight installations facilitated within the constituency.
The ward-to-ward sensitisation tour also featured interactions with local residents, goodwill messages from party faithful, prayers for peace and progress, and renewed commitments by supporters to continue mobilizing grassroots support for the APC and its candidates across Epe Division.
The exercise ended on a celebratory note as residents reaffirmed their loyalty and solidarity with Hon. Abiodun Tobun and Rep. Wale Raji ahead of future political activities within the division.
