EKO HOT BLOG reports that the attack reportedly occurred around 6 p.m., leaving the facility badly damaged and several vehicles destroyed.
A police source, who spoke anonymously due to lack of authorisation to comment, said one of the injured officers was in a coma and receiving treatment in a hospital.
According to the source, the attackers set fire to multiple vehicles, including a bus allegedly hired by police personnel from Abuja.
The source further disclosed that operatives of the Police Mobile Force, who were responding to distress information, engaged the attackers while approaching Isan from Oye and successfully repelled them before they could gain control of the community.
The source also claimed that officers stationed at the facility fled during the attack, though security reinforcements later restored calm in the area.
A visit to the police station showed extensive destruction, with two vehicles burnt within the premises, alongside a generator and other operational equipment.
Windows, doors, and parts of the ceiling were also damaged, while three additional vehicles parked outside the station were completely burnt.
The incident adds to a growing list of attacks on police facilities in parts of Ekiti State in recent years.

As of the time of filing this report, the Ekiti State Police Command had yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
