Nollywood Actress, Yvonne Jegede’s Child Dies From Cholera
Yvonne Jegede announces the death of her adopted child, Olamide, due to cholera, while two other adopted children recently graduated from secondary school.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a heartfelt post on her Instagram page, Yvonne shared that the deceased, named Olamide, was a bright young student she met when he was in Primary 4.
Olamide was set to advance to JSS3 after the summer break but unfortunately passed away before this milestone.

Yvonne revealed that two other adopted children, including Olamide’s sister, graduated from secondary school just last week. Despite not having unlimited financial resources, Yvonne has been supporting the education of the three children, finding great fulfillment in this act of generosity.
She wrote, “I’m heartbroken because I lost one of my children to cholera. Olamide and I met when he was in primary 4 and was supposed to go to JSS3 after this summer break.

“The news broke my heart. I am also happy 2 of my children graduated yesterday from secondary school, and one of them is Olamide’s sister.
“I don’t have all the money in the world, but this makes my world complete. Since 2019 till date, I don’t know how I do it, but my God provides enough to carry them through.
