Rep. Wale Raji, Member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Livestock Development, has described teachers as “nation builders, moral beacons, and shapers of destinies” in his goodwill message to commemorate the 2025 World Teachers’ Day.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in his statement, Rep. Raji posed a rhetorical reflection: “How would there be a world without teachers?” while emphasizing the immeasurable sacrifices and resilience of educators across Nigeria.
He lauded teachers in Epe Federal Constituency, Lagos State, and the country at large for their tireless efforts in shaping future generations without discrimination of tribe, religion, or class.
Rep. Raji highlighted his contributions to the education sector, in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.

These include the facilitation of fully furnished classroom blocks in both rural and urban communities of Epe.
According to him, such interventions have enhanced teachers’ morale, improved students’ learning outcomes, and expanded access to education in underserved areas.
“Support for the welfare and infrastructural needs of teachers will continue to be a top priority,” he assured, while urging teachers to uphold the integrity and dignity of their profession.
He also called on educators to remain role models, stressing the importance of passing on strong moral values to children, alongside academic knowledge.
“As we commemorate World Teachers’ Day 2025, may we continue to work hand-in-hand across all sectors to make teachers truly thrive, and by so doing, secure the destiny of our great nation,” Rep. Raji said.
He concluded with prayers for teachers and reaffirmed his commitment to policies that will empower and dignify the teaching profession.
