The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Epe Local Branch, has congratulated its Grand Patron, Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, on her well-deserved recognition as the Best Healthcare Development Award recipient at the 2025 Lagos Grassroots Achievers Award.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement issued by the council, the NYCN described the award as a clear testament to Princess Animashaun’s unwavering dedication, visionary leadership,
and exceptional commitment to public service — especially in advancing healthcare delivery, empowering communities, and enhancing the overall well-being of the people of Epe.
The youth body commended her people-centered governance style, noting that her achievements continue to inspire the younger generation and exemplify purposeful leadership at the grassroots.
According to the statement, “Your passion for people-oriented governance continues to inspire the youth constituency and serves as a shining example of purposeful leadership at the grassroots.

The entire youth community of Epe stands proud of your continuous strides in promoting the THEMES+ Agenda of Mr. Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, especially in health and human capital development.”
The NYCN further expressed its admiration for her consistent efforts in transforming Epe into a model of effective and inclusive leadership, praying for divine wisdom, strength, and success as she continues to serve humanity.
“We celebrate you, our Grand Patron, for this milestone and pray that God continues to grant you more wisdom, strength, and success in your noble service to humanity,” the statement added.
The council concluded by describing Princess Surah Animashaun as “the pride of Epe and a beacon of transformational leadership.”
