Residents of Epe II Constituency have continued to applaud the humanitarian efforts of their representative in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Ogunkelu Oluwadahunsi Sylvester, fondly called Hon. Sketel, for his consistent support to families through his Weekly Sunday Stomach Infrastructure Programme.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the initiative, which takes place every Sunday at Ora Estate, has reached over 1,000 beneficiaries, each receiving an average of ₦5,000 weekly to ease the burden of rising living costs.

Speaking during the latest edition, Hon. Sketel said his passion for humanity drives the programme, which he described as his personal contribution toward supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“God sent me to rescue Epe II from hunger. Even without any allocation from the federal or state government, I have made it a duty to ensure that my people do not go to bed hungry,” he said.
He also urged attendees to present their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) while collecting their packages, encouraging others who are yet to register to do so before the next Sunday’s outreach.

Beneficiaries from different wards testified to the positive impact of the initiative.
Mrs. Ariyo from Ward M1 described the lawmaker as “a God-sent leader who brings joy to the less privileged every week.”
Similarly, Iya Eleja from Ward K1 hailed him as “a true Messiah for Epe’s vulnerable population,” offering prayers that his good deeds would continue beyond 2027.
