The lawmaker representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Wale Raji, has reaffirmed his commitment to sustainable development through strategic investments in education, infrastructure, and welfare programmes that continue to impact lives across his constituency.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Raji stated this during an interview in Lagos on Tuesday, noting that all his constituency projects were designed to create lasting socio-economic benefits for the people.

He explained that education remains a major focus of his representation, emphasizing that the establishment of new schools and rehabilitation of existing ones would strengthen literacy and promote community development.
According to him, no fewer than five new schools have been established across Epe Federal Constituency, while over 20 blocks of classrooms have been constructed in public schools to enhance the learning environment.
“It is the Lagos State Government that employs staff and pays their salaries in the newly established schools, while my office provides the necessary infrastructure to ensure smooth operations of the schools,” he said.
Raji further disclosed that under his welfare initiative, 150 elderly residents aged 70 years and above receive a monthly stipend of ₦10,000 each — an effort aimed at supporting the aged and improving their quality of life.
He added that more than 20 roads had been facilitated within the last three years, all equipped with solar-powered streetlights to enhance security and reduce nighttime crime.
The federal lawmaker highlighted several of his completed projects, including the construction of Epe Grammar School Road, a community stadium within the school premises, an ICT centre, and the provision of mattresses for boarding students.

Raji also revealed that a new police quarters had been completed at Oke-Balogun, Epe, to improve the welfare of security personnel and strengthen policing in the area.

He said that a contract had been awarded for the construction of a modern livestock market, expected to be completed within two months, to boost local trade and create employment opportunities for residents.
“I remain fully committed to delivering people-oriented projects that will foster sustainable development and improve the standard of living for residents of Epe Federal Constituency,” he said.
