Fayose explained that he has already prepared a written directive for Governor Biodun Oyebanji, stressing that immediately after his death, the state government should take charge of his remains and burial plans.

According to him, his body must be interred within four weeks, allowing the government enough time to make necessary arrangements. “Whether it happens in 20 years or 30 years, or whatever time God chooses, the Ekiti State Government must take my body and bury me within four weeks,” he said.
He added that his children must not be placed under any pressure regarding burial rites, insisting they should simply comply with whatever plan the government adopts.
Fayose also revealed his preferred final resting place — the garden he built at the home of his paternal grandmother. Once he is buried there, he said no one should visit the site again.

“If you want to love me, do it now. If you want to take care of me, now is the time,” he said, urging his followers and associates to show affection while he is still alive.
Meanwhile, a separate 20-minute clip published by the channel showed legendary juju icon King Sunny Ade performing for Fayose at his birthday thanksgiving, with political figures celebrating him.
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike hailed him as a loyal friend, while Governor Oyebanji praised Fayose’s significant contributions to Ekiti’s political landscape.
