Although the convention was initially scheduled to start at 10 a.m., organisers shifted the kickoff to 4 p.m. to accommodate delegates arrivin from distant states.

The influx of party members has created heavy traffic across Ibadan, leaving commuters struggling to reach their destinations.
All motor parks around the stadium have been shut down to ensure smooth movement for delegates, forcing commercial drivers on routes such as Eleyele, Mokola Roundabout, Dugbe, Sango, University of Ibadan, Ojoo, Sasa, Oremeji, Oke Itunu and Agodi Gate to divert to alternative roads.
Despite the traffic disruptions, the atmosphere at the venue is lively and colourful, with thousands of supporters dressed in the PDP’s signature green, white and red colours.

Security personnel are stationed around the stadium to maintain order and guarantee a peaceful exercise.
Eko Hot Blog further gathered that voting cubicles have already been arranged at the centre of the pitch, indicating readiness for the process. Barring any last-minute changes, the convention is expected to commence fully at 4 p.m.
