2027: Abak 5 Bloc Rallies Behind Tinubu

At a strategic breakfast meeting in Uyo, the Concerned Stakeholders of Abak 5, a prominent group within the political bloc of the Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District, announced their unanimous support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Governor Umo Eno in their reelection campaigns.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the bloc gathered both current and former political officeholders, the meeting provided a united front and platform for mobilization ahead of the 2027 elections.
Attendees acknowledged the importance of continuity in leadership as vital for sustained progress in both Nigeria and Akwa Ibom State.

Notable speakers, such as former Chairman of Ukanafun Local Government Council Hon. Uko Idiong, and former Vice Chairman of Oruk Anam Hon. Okokon Etiebet, commended the leadership prowess of Tinubu, the strategic vision of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and the transformational achievements of Governor Umo Eno within Akwa Ibom State.
Additionally, APC chapter chairman Mr. Akaninyene Ukpanah, Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President Obong (Barr.) Freedom Ibritam, and APC Women Leader in Ukanafun Hon. Uduak Friday emphasized the need for continued collaboration and political harmony across party lines.
This, they stated, will ensure regional stability and promote development within the area.
“We in the Abak 5 political Bloc of Akwa Ibom Northwest senatorial district declare our support for the second term ambitions of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno.
“We are made up of the five local government areas of Abak, Etim Ekpo, Ika, Ukanafun, and Oruk Anam. With our votes, we will reelect these leaders who have shown massive capacity to lead the country well,” Idiong said.
This early show of solidarity reflects the bloc’s confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and the desire for continuity across federal, senatorial, and state levels.
