The All Progressives Congress has announced an extension of deadlines for the sale and submission of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for aspirants preparing for the 2027 general elections.

Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement released on Monday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the adjustment also includes changes to the screening timetable.

According to the revised schedule, the sale of forms will now continue until midnight on May 6, 2026, while the submission of completed forms has been extended to midnight on May 7, 2026.

The party further disclosed that the screening of aspirants will take place between May 8 and May 12, 2026, with the final list of successful candidates scheduled for publication on May 13, 2026.

The extension is expected to give aspirants additional time to complete necessary processes ahead of the party’s primaries.
