Eko Hot Blog reports that the delegation, led by the Founder and Convener of the group, Comrade Giwa Moshood Olasupo, paid a courtesy visit to the APC chieftain to formally present the THEDSF Action Plan and outline its mobilisation strategy ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
Speaking during the visit, Comrade Olasupo said the movement was established to galvanise massive grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid and to mobilise voters across Epe Division in support of Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, as well as other APC candidates.
“The Tinubu-Hamzat Epe Division Solidarity Front was founded to unite progressive-minded people behind the Renewed Hope Agenda. Our mission is to mobilise voters, deepen political participation, and ensure overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and all APC candidates in the 2027 General Elections,” he said.
Olasupo explained that the organisation would embark on sustained voter education, political enlightenment, and grassroots engagement across communities within Epe Division to encourage wider participation in the electoral process.
“We believe democracy thrives when citizens actively participate in elections. That is why we are committed to intensive mobilisation, voter education, and strengthening the APC at the grassroots,” he added.
Responding, Engr. Olowu commended the leadership of THEDSF for what he described as a timely and commendable initiative aimed at consolidating the party’s support base.
“I commend the leadership and members of THEDSF for demonstrating loyalty, political maturity, and commitment to the ideals of our great party. Initiatives like this will further strengthen our grassroots structure and position the APC for greater success,” he stated.
The APC flag bearer also reiterated his determination to provide inclusive, responsive, and people-centred representation for the people of Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I if elected.
“My commitment remains to work with party faithful, community leaders, youths, women, traditional institutions, and other stakeholders to deliver quality representation and meaningful development for our constituency,” Olowu said.
The visit concluded with the formal presentation of the THEDSF Action Plan to Engr. Olowu as both parties pledged to sustain collaboration towards the success of the APC in the 2027 General Elections.
