The Los Angeles Police Department has taken a 30-year-old woman into custody following a violent shooting at the home of Barbadian superstar Rihanna.
The incident, which occurred at approximately 1:21 p.m. on Sunday, saw multiple rounds fired into the singer’s estate in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood.

According to police reports, the suspect opened fire from across the street while seated inside a white Tesla.
The gunfire was not limited to the exterior; investigators revealed that at least one bullet penetrated a structural wall of the mansion.
Other rounds caused damage to the property’s gate and a recreational vehicle parked on the premises.
Rihanna was confirmed to be inside the residence at the time, though it remains unverified if her partner, A$AP Rocky, or their three young children were also home.
The suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting, sparking a 30-minute manhunt. LAPD air support eventually spotted the vehicle heading south on Coldwater Canyon Drive and tracked it to a shopping center parking lot in Sherman Oaks.
Ground units moved in and arrested the woman, who was described as having braided hair and wearing a cream-colored blouse.
During a search of the vehicle, LAPD spokesperson Armen Arias confirmed that officers discovered an assault rifle and seven spent shell casings.

The motive for the targeted attack is still under investigation, and the suspect’s identity has not yet been officially released to the public.
This violent breach marks another terrifying security incident for the singer. In 2018, Rihanna was the victim of a stalking incident where a man spent 12 hours inside her Hollywood Hills home before being caught.
However, the use of a high-powered weapon in this latest attack represents a significant escalation in the threats facing the global icon.
