Among those present were Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), National Assembly lawmakers, Lagos Assembly members and council chairmen from across the state.
The gathering also produced a unanimous endorsement of Lagos Deputy Governor Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as the APC’s preferred governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Lagos.
Addressing party supporters at the event, Sanwo-Olu said Tinubu deserves another term in office to consolidate ongoing economic and structural reforms across the country.
The governor described Hamzat as a seasoned administrator with the experience and capacity required to sustain the progressive legacy of the APC in Lagos State.
Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello also pledged strong political support for Tinubu ahead of the next presidential election, assuring the President of overwhelming backing from Kogi State.
According to Bello, Tinubu’s role in mentoring and building political leaders across Nigeria has earned him widespread goodwill and loyalty.
Speaking after his endorsement, Hamzat thanked Sanwo-Olu, GAC leaders and party members for the confidence reposed in him, promising to uphold the progressive ideals of the party.
He also urged Nigerians to rally behind Tinubu and the APC during the 2027 elections.
Religious leaders at the event offered prayers for peace, unity and stability in the country, while praying for Tinubu’s health and successful leadership.
The Lagos State Convener of the Renewed Hope Network, James Abiodun Faleke, described the endorsement as a sign of growing unity within the Lagos APC.
Faleke charged party members to mobilise more voters ahead of the next election cycle, insisting that Tinubu’s reforms have laid the foundation for long-term national growth.

He also criticised opposition politicians defecting between parties, saying Nigerians should be wary of leaders unable to manage internal crises within their own political platforms.
Also speaking, the Director-General of the group in Lagos, Mohammed Oyinlomo Danmole, thanked party faithful for the massive turnout and expressed confidence that APC candidates would justify the trust placed in them.
