A woman identified as Jamila has been accused of pouring hot water on her friend’s daughter, Fatima Sani, causing severe burns and peeling off parts of her skin.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the incident occurred in Unguwa Uku, Tarauni Local Government Area, Kano State, reportedly stemming from a dispute over a task Jamila assigned to Fatima—monitoring her daughter’s movements in the neighborhood.

EKO HOT BLOG learned, Fatima explained that after she informed Jamila that her daughter continued socializing despite warnings, a confrontation ensued between her and the girl. In the heat of the altercation, Jamila allegedly poured hot water on both of them, leaving them with serious burns.
Fatima’s grandmother, Safiya Sulaiman, expressed deep distress over the incident, revealing that Fatima sustained severe burns on her face and back. She called on authorities to ensure justice is served.
Meanwhile, Jamila is currently in police custody, but efforts to obtain her side of the story were unsuccessful as investigations are ongoing.
