Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the appointment of Thomas Frank as their new head coach on a four-year contract that runs through 2028.
The 51-year-old Danish tactician replaces Ange Postecoglou, who was sacked earlier this month despite leading Spurs to their first major trophy in 17 years — a dramatic UEFA Europa League final victory over Manchester United in Bilbao.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Frank joins from Brentford, where he spent seven seasons and oversaw the club’s rise from the Championship to Premier League promotion in 2021. Under his leadership, the Bees grew into an impressive top-flight side, even outperforming Spurs in the league last season.
Tottenham endured a disappointing domestic campaign, finishing 17th in the Premier League and narrowly avoiding relegation after losing 22 out of 38 matches. They ended the season 18 points behind Brentford in the table.
Nevertheless, the club’s Europa League success earned them a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League — a major boost as they attempt to rebuild.
Frank becomes Spurs’ fourth permanent manager in just three years, following the short tenures of José Mourinho, Nuno Espírito Santo, and Postecoglou. The club’s board hopes the Dane’s track record of consistency and team development will bring long-term stability.
