EKO HOT BLOG reports that this year’s edition will feature the biggest prize in BBNaija history, with the eventual winner walking away with a staggering ₦150 million—an upgrade from the ₦100 million awarded in the last season.
At a media briefing held on Wednesday, show organisers revealed new details about the upcoming season, promising more excitement, twists, and premium entertainment for viewers across Africa.
Ebuka Returns as Host
Media personality and longtime host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, will once again take up hosting duties, continuing a role he has held since 2017. Speaking at the launch event, Ebuka expressed his excitement, describing the show’s journey as “phenomenal.”
“It’s been an incredible journey. We’ve had 197 housemates, 709 days of broadcast, and ₦637 million in total prize money awarded,” he said.
What to Expect This Season
Last year’s edition, themed “No Loose Guard,” introduced a twist where contestants entered the house in pairs but later competed individually. It ended with Kellyrae, a married contestant, making history as the first married winner of BBNaija and walking away with ₦100 million.
Season 10 will mark a return to physical auditions, which were held across selected Nigerian cities from May 16 to 18, following years of virtual processes.
Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice Nigeria, Busola Tejumola, assured fans that the new season will deliver even more.
“This will be the biggest and boldest BBNaija yet. We’ve pulled out all the stops to make it a memorable experience—from production quality to content delivery,” she said.
Fans can expect drama, intrigue, entertainment, and a few surprise twists as BBNaija prepares to dominate the airwaves once again.
