As part of ongoing efforts to improve healthcare services in Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), the Executive Chairman, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has paid an inspection visit to the Apakin Primary Health Centre.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Chairman, who personally toured the facility, evaluated the working environment and held interactive sessions with health personnel to better understand their concerns and challenges.
Speaking during the visit, Kasali reassured the medical team of his administration’s determination to enhance healthcare delivery at the grassroots.
“Our government is committed to strengthening and upgrading the operations of all Primary Health Centres in Lekki LCDA.

We recognize that effective healthcare begins with functional PHCs, and we will continue to provide the support needed to serve our people better,” he said.
Kasali further noted that the inspection was in line with his broader vision to reposition the healthcare sector in Lekki LCDA, ensuring that residents, especially those in underserved communities, have easier access to quality medical services.
The health workers at Apakin PHC expressed gratitude to the Chairman for his visit, describing it as a morale booster that shows the administration’s concern for frontline healthcare providers and patients alike.
Community members present also commended the Chairman for his hands-on leadership approach and urged him to sustain his interventions in healthcare and other critical sectors.
