Habibat revealed that Lateef blocked her for about four years, only unblocking her in January 2025. She said she never understood the reason behind the block and decided to speak out, not to create controversy, but to highlight how fame can change some actors in the industry.

She said, “I invited Lateef to be part of a movie I was shooting, but he told me bluntly he only wants to feature in films with fortunate people. I was hurt at first, but moved on.
He blocked me for years and only unblocked me recently. I don’t know why, but I want to show how some colleagues change after fame.”
Lateef Adedimeji, known for his emotional performances in Yoruba films like Ayinla, Lisabi, and Jagun Jagun, has not yet responded to the allegations.
