EKO HOT BLOG reports that the development followed the dissolution of the Adolphus Wabara-led Board, which the group said had “lost moral direction.” The decision was made during a meeting held at Wike’s Life Camp residence in Abuja, where the factional Acting National Chairman, Abdulrahman Muhammad, inaugurated the new BoT.
Before the closed-door session, Muhammad said the dissolution became necessary to “restore constitutional order and moral discipline” within the PDP. He alleged that Wabara’s suspension by the Abia State chapter for anti-party activities rendered his leadership “untenable.”
