Soludo’s victory marks a decisive second term for the incumbent governor and reaffirms APGA’s political dominance in the state. INEC described the election as peaceful and transparent, adding that no major incidents of violence or vote-buying were recorded.

Supporters across Awka and other major towns celebrated the result, describing it as a reflection of the people’s confidence in Soludo’s administration. The governor-elect is expected to receive his certificate of return later this week at the INEC headquarters in Awka.
