Nwoko, in an earlier statement issued after Regina reportedly left their home, had accused her of drug addiction and claimed she refused to undergo rehabilitation.

However, in a statement posted on her verified Facebook page on Saturday night, Regina admitted to using drugs but alleged that her husband encouraged the habit.

“You said you wanted me to go for rehab, but you are the same Ned who wanted me high because, in your words, I’m ‘sexier’ when I’m high. You liked me that way because it made me wild and romantic exactly how you wanted me to be,” she wrote.

She further alleged that Nwoko’s other wives and ex-wives were also involved in drug use.

“Why don’t you also tell them that all your wives and ex-wives are on drugs? Can you be kind enough to explain to them why that is?” she asked.

The actress also accused the senator of detaining her and subjecting her to forced medication.

“Why don’t you tell them how you locked me up and asked doctors to inject me with drugs meant for people with bipolar disorder? Why don’t you tell them how you took my phones for weeks just because you hate that I talk to my family a lot?” she added.

As of press time, Senator Nwoko has not publicly responded to the new allegations.
