Tinubu’s declaration of a State of Emergency on insecurity will soon bring an end to the security challenges facing the country, according to a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Olabode Omoyele.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Omoyele made the remark during an empowerment programme for residents of the thirteen wards in Okitipupa Local Government Area. He praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the bold steps taken to address insecurity and for ongoing reforms across several sectors, urging Nigerians to support the President and remain vigilant in their communities.

He said the President deserves collective encouragement, especially at a time when the country is battling persistent security concerns. Omoyele called on citizens to be more alert, adding that the difficult period would soon pass.
Speaking on the empowerment initiative valued at one hundred million naira, Omoyele explained that the programme was motivated by his commitment to community development and his desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people in Okitipupa. Items shared included one thousand ten kilogram bags of rice with ten thousand naira cash support to one thousand widows, one thousand spraying pumps for farmers, one thousand bottles of herbicides, fifty thousand naira each to two hundred youths, fifty thousand naira each to fifty men, and fifty thousand naira each to one hundred women. More than one thousand cutlasses were also distributed to farmers.
Omoyele, who founded the Olabode Humanitarian Foundation, said the initiative was also designed to complement the efforts of the Minister of Interior Hon Olubunmi Tunji Ojo and President Tinubu. He described it as a personal project aimed at supporting vulnerable people and strengthening the community.

He commended Hon Olubunmi Tunji Ojo for what he called outstanding performance and acknowledged his significant contributions to the reelection campaign of President Tinubu in Ondo State. According to him, Tunji Ojo has been working tirelessly through platforms such as the Asiwaju Mandate Group and the PBAT Continuity Project to ensure that the achievements of the President extend beyond 2027.
A key moment at the event was the official launch of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Continuity Project in Ondo State. The launch was led by its Director General Pastor Femi Agagu, former Commissioner for Education and former Chief of Staff to the late Governor Olusegun Agagu.
Several notable APC leaders attended, including Princess Catherine Oladunni Odu, former Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Hon Mayowa Akinfolarin, a member of the House of Representatives, Hon Muyiwa Asagunla, Director General of the Asiwaju Mandate Group in Ondo State, Hon Ifedayo Iji, Basorun Tony Meduoye, Hon Nimbe Tawose, Hon Afolabi Iwalewa, former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Dr Morenike Alaka, former Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, among other prominent party figures.
