Speaking after the event, the NYCN Epe Coordinator, Moibi Ibrahim, noted that the Congress delivered measurable impact in self-empowerment and personal development.
He said the theme of the programme provided clear direction for youths navigating today’s economic realities.
“This year’s Congress has positively impacted and transformed the lives of participants, especially in the areas of self-empowerment, self-development, and economic consciousness,” Ibrahim said.
“The theme was timely, relevant, and inspiring, and it provided practical direction for youths seeking sustainable livelihoods,” he added.
Delivering the guest lecture, Dr. Olubunmi Kole Dawodu, Deputy Director of SMEDAN Lagos State, exposed participants to employment pathways, entrepreneurship opportunities, and available government support schemes.
According to the organisers, the session equipped youths with practical knowledge required to translate ideas into viable businesses.
“Our youths have been exposed to practical guidance and real opportunities that can help them become economically independent,” Ibrahim stated.
The Congress was attended by several dignitaries, including Hon. Tobun Abiodun, LAHA Epe I; Hon. Wale Raji, Member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, represented by Mr. Kaka Babatunde; Hon. Hammed Seriki, Commissioner II, Lagos State Local Government Service Commission; and Hon. Wasiu Ayeola Olaomopo of Lekki Worldwide, who chaired the occasion.
