A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered 48 individuals to report to the Lagos Command of the State Security Service, SSS, in Shangisha over allegations bordering on fraud and unlawful receipt of funds.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the directive, issued on January 12, 2026, is linked to an ongoing investigation arising from a suit filed by the Federal Republic of Nigeria against Yakubu Idris and 47 other persons.

According to the court order, the affected individuals are required to present themselves at the SSS office within 60 days from the date the public notice was issued, in accordance with Suit No. FHC/L/MISC/649/2025.
The court stated that compliance with the order is mandatory to allow the individuals respond to the allegations and clarify their roles during the course of the investigation. It warned that failure to honour the directive would constitute a breach of a lawful court order.

The notice published by the court listed the names of the affected persons alongside their last known addresses across several states, including Abuja, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Nasarawa, Kano, Imo, Delta and Rivers.
Those named are aged between 24 and 76 years.
Among the listed individuals are Yakubu Idris, Ajibade Lukman Olawale and Owolabi Adesina Samuel.
The court consequently directed all the listed persons to report to the State Security Service, Lagos Command, within the stipulated 60-day period for further investigation and necessary action.
