Eko Hot Blog reports that in a condolence message, the lawmaker described the late monarch as a revered royal father whose reign of over two and a half decades was marked by wisdom, dignity, and unwavering commitment to the preservation of culture and tradition.
“It is with a saddened heart that I extend my heartfelt condolences to the good people of Ise Land and the entire Epe Division on the passing of Kabiyesi,” Rep. Raji stated.
“At the ripe age of 90, Kabiyesi answered the call of eternity after two and a half decades on the throne. Alayeluwa was not only a royal father but a vibrant custodian of culture and tradition whose life reflected wisdom and love for humanity.”
Rep. Raji also commiserated with His Royal Majesty, Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, the Oloja of Epe Land, other monarchs of Epe Division, and the entire Adegbesan royal family, noting that the vacuum left by the late monarch would be difficult to fill.
“May the Almighty God grant him eternal rest and comfort the people of Ise Land in this moment of grief. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen,” he concluded.
The passing of the Onise marks the end of an era in Ise Land, as tributes continue to pour in from across Epe Division and beyond.
