In a significant move to strengthen grassroots security and improve operational efficiency, Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as SKETEL and representing Epe Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, has donated a 6KVA 48 Volts inverter system to the Nigeria Police Force, Divisional Headquarters, Odo-Noforija Eredo, Epe, Lagos State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the donation, presented on Monday, February 23, 2026, is designed to ensure uninterrupted 24-hour power supply at the police station, enabling officers to carry out their constitutional responsibilities without disruption caused by power outages.

Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Ogunkelu stressed that security remains a shared responsibility and a vital pillar for sustainable development.
He highlighted the importance of reliable electricity in modern policing, noting that it powers communication systems, surveillance equipment, and essential administrative operations.
“This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening the security architecture within Epe Constituency II. Our officers must remain fully alert, equipped, and motivated as they uphold their pledge to protect lives and property,” he stated.
The leadership of the Divisional Headquarters, Odo-Noforija Eredo, expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as both timely and impactful.
They assured the lawmaker and residents that the inverter system would greatly enhance their operational readiness and response capability.
Community members across Eredo and the wider Epe area also commended Hon. Ogunkelu for his proactive leadership and continued investment in public safety and development.
