In a significant step toward promoting access to higher education, the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has announced the distribution of free 2026 JAMB forms to eligible indigenes of the council area.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the initiative is designed to support qualified candidates preparing for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), helping to reduce the financial burden on parents and guardians while encouraging academic excellence among youths.
Speaking on the initiative, Engr. Kasali said, “Education remains the foundation for sustainable development, and we must continue to invest in our young people.”
He added, “By providing these free JAMB forms, we are removing financial obstacles and giving our students the opportunity to pursue their dreams without limitation.”
Interested applicants are required to visit the Department of Education at the Lekki LCDA Council Secretariat between now and Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old, be verified indigenes of Lekki LCDA, and present their JAMB Profile Code, NIN slip, photocopies of O’level results, two passport photographs, birth certificate, and evidence of at least five credits including English Language and Mathematics.
A parent who visited the secretariat expressed appreciation for the gesture, saying, “This support is timely and thoughtful. It shows that the Chairman truly cares about the future of our children.”
The free JAMB form distribution further highlights the administration’s commitment to youth empowerment, human capital development, and inclusive governance within Lekki LCDA.
