Eko Hot Blog reports that according to the university, the registration exercise will run from April 27 to May 22, 2026, and will be conducted through the institution’s official portal.
The verification process is structured in four phases and will take place across designated centres in key divisions of Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, and Epe.
LASU emphasized that the exercise is strictly for candidates of Lagos State origin, who must be screened and cleared by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) before they can be considered for admission into the university.
The institution, however, clarified that participation in the verification exercise does not automatically guarantee admission, as candidates must still meet all other academic and admission requirements.
In addition, Direct Entry applicants and candidates from previous admission cycles who were not offered admission are required to participate in the exercise or revalidate their earlier clearance, as applicable.
The university urged all eligible candidates to adhere strictly to the registration timeline and guidelines to avoid disqualification.
