Hon. Mustain Abiodun Tobun, Member representing Epe Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has congratulated Tunji Disu on his appointment as Inspector-General of Police.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Tobun described the elevation of the Lagos-born police chief as a proud and defining moment for Lagos State and the country, noting that his decades of meritorious service in the Nigeria Police Force have prepared him for the topmost position.

“This is a prestigious and well-deserved appointment,” Tobun said.
According to the lawmaker, Disu’s track record in specialized operations, investigations, and command leadership reflects his competence and dedication to national security.
“As a proud Lagos-born son of the soil, his elevation to the helm of the Nigeria Police Force is a moment of great pride for Lagos State and the nation at large,” he added.
Tobun further expressed confidence in the IGP’s ability to reposition the Force and strengthen internal security across the federation.
“His achievement reflects excellence, integrity, and commitment to public service, qualities that will undoubtedly guide his leadership in strengthening security and upholding the rule of law across Nigeria,” he stated.
He prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and success for the new police boss as he assumes office.
