The Tutor-General and Permanent Secretary of Education, District VI, Mrs. Mojisola Christiana Yusuff, led her management team on a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba Isa Abiodun Olakunle Faronbi Shekoni, the Osolo of Isolo, to strengthen collaboration between the education sector and the community.

Eko Hot Blog reports that during the visit, Mrs. Yusuff highlighted rising cases of student indiscipline in the Okota school cluster, stressing the need for parental and community involvement.
She noted that while the government provides a conducive and secure learning environment, restoring discipline requires joint efforts.
“We are calling on the community to join hands with us in bringing sanity back to our schools.
Discipline is a shared responsibility, and we need everyone’s involvement to create a safe and productive learning environment,” she said.
Oba Faronbi Shekoni reaffirmed the Palace’s commitment to education and community development. He pledged to mobilize parents and stakeholders to address issues of indiscipline and security, while also raising concerns about encroachment on school lands in the Okota area.
The monarch emphasized the importance of maintaining open communication between the Palace and the education district.
The engagement marks a renewed partnership aimed at fostering a disciplined, secure, and supportive educational environment for students in District VI.
