The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Epe Branch, successfully hosted its 2026 Ramadan Lecture, bringing together youths, community leaders, religious leaders, and key stakeholders in an atmosphere of reflection, learning, and unity.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the lecture, themed “The Role of Nigerian Youths in Promoting Peaceful Coexistence and Interfaith Harmony,” emphasized the critical responsibility of young people in building understanding, tolerance, and peaceful relationships within Nigeria’s diverse society.
Addressing participants at the gathering, the leadership of NYCN Epe Branch noted that youths must become ambassadors of peace and unity in their communities.
“Youths must see themselves as builders of peace and promoters of harmony regardless of religious or ethnic differences,” the council stated.
The lecture served as a platform for meaningful dialogue on the importance of mutual respect, cooperation among faiths, and the need for responsible youth engagement in nation-building.
The organizers expressed deep appreciation to dignitaries, youth leaders, religious leaders, and community stakeholders who attended and supported the programme.
