The crisis, which dates back to 2024, has pitched Baruwa against Musiliu Akinsanya, widely known as MC Oluomo, in a prolonged struggle for leadership.
Although MC Oluomo emerged as National President following an election in November 2024, the matter later became the subject of a legal battle.
A court eventually ruled in favour of Baruwa, giving his camp legal backing in the dispute. However, despite the judgment, MC Oluomo has continued to operate as president, further complicating the situation.

The latest development marks a new phase in the conflict, raising fresh concerns over stability within the union and the need for a decisive resolution to the leadership impasse.
