EKO HOT BLOG reports that the agreement was signed on March 10 and officially registered on April 1 under the Foreign Agents Registration Act framework, according to details reported by Premium Times.
Under the contract, the firm is expected to provide strategic advisory services, facilitate engagement with members of the United States Congress and executive branch, and manage Atiku’s reputation among policymakers in Washington.
The filing stated that the firm will “inform and, where appropriate, influence” United States government officials on matters relating to Nigeria, including democratic governance, regional stability, economic development, and bilateral relations.
It is also tasked with shaping Atiku’s policy messaging, coordinating high level meetings with US officials, and strengthening his perception within key political circles.
Further details of the agreement outlined objectives such as promoting understanding of Atiku’s leadership vision, strengthening his standing in Washington, countering narratives from incumbent authorities, and building structured institutional relationships.
The services to be delivered include drafting policy briefs, arranging meetings with lawmakers and executive officials, and advising on political and reputational risks.

Atiku, who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the African Democratic Congress, is widely expected to seek the ADC presidential ticket ahead of the 2027 election.
