EKO HOT BLOG reports that addressing congregants, the cleric said those responsible for killings and kidnappings across the country would face divine retribution within seven days.
“Except I am not sent, in the next seven days, I declare judgment upon those responsible for these disasters and their sponsors in Jesus’ name,” he said.
He added that the coming week would be marked by what he described as “testimonies of vengeance” across the nation, expressing confidence that divine intervention was imminent.
Speaking further, Oyedepo emphasised the need for spiritual discipline while preaching on pathways to sanctification. He urged worshippers to avoid spiritual complacency, warning that ungodliness could hinder supernatural breakthroughs and affect destiny.
According to him, a life lacking holiness exposes individuals to shame and reproach, stressing that believers must remain steadfast in their faith.
“Until the God of vengeance shows up, the wicked will not give up,” he said.
The cleric also warned that without holiness, believers risk losing access to eternity, which he described as the ultimate goal of the Christian faith.

His comments come amid heightened concerns over insecurity in parts of the country, particularly incidents of kidnapping and banditry, which have continued to affect several communities.
