- Epe Ogunmodede Club endorsed Raji, citing his track record of development across the constituency.
- The endorsement follows Raji’s ranking as the second best-performing House of Reps member from Lagos.
- The club says a fourth term could position Raji for a principal officer role in the House, strengthening Epe’s voice at the federal level.
The Epe Ogunmodede Club has thrown its weight behind Hon. Wale Raji, the member representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, endorsing him for a fourth term in the 2027 general election.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the club’s president, Mr. Jafar Babatunde Sanuth, announced the decision on behalf of its members, describing it as the outcome of a careful assessment of Raji’s performance and the impact of his work on the constituency.

“His achievements span critical sectors including education, healthcare, road infrastructure, local economic development, MSMEs support, youth and women empowerment, agricultural advancement, human capacity building, and social intervention programmes,” Sanuth said.
“These are not mere projections but verifiable milestones that have positively transformed lives across Epe Federal Constituency.”
The endorsement comes on the heels of a ranking by Lagos Reporters, a Lagos-based media outfit, which placed Raji as the second best-performing member of the House of Representatives among all 24 lawmakers from Lagos State. He scored 12,450 points in the 1,000-day assessment, which measured constituency engagement, public accessibility, community development impact, and verified feedback from residents.
Raji’s record in the constituency backs up both the ranking and the club’s confidence in him. He has built several schools in underserved communities, constructed market stalls to support local traders, installed solar-powered street lights across the division, rehabilitated roads, and delivered empowerment programmes covering farmers, youth, and small business owners.

Beyond his constituency work, the Ogunmodede Club pointed to the strategic value of returning an experienced lawmaker. The club noted that a fourth term could position Raji for a principal officer role in the House of Representatives, an outcome that would give Epe a stronger voice and greater leverage at the federal level.
“His legislative longevity has not only enhanced his effectiveness but has also positioned him as a strong and influential voice for our constituency at the National Assembly,” Sanuth said.
“A fourth term presents a critical opportunity for Rep. Wale Raji to attain higher leadership responsibility within the House, potentially as a Principal Officer.”
While acknowledging the right of other aspirants to contest, the club said experience and a proven track record made Raji the most reliable choice at this time. It called on community leaders, stakeholders, and residents across the constituency to rally behind him ahead of the 2027 polls.
Raji, who currently chairs the House Services Committee, was first elected to represent Epe Federal Constituency in 2015 and has since been returned twice, most recently in 2023, when he polled 19,337 votes to defeat his closest challenger by a wide margin. A fourth term would be unprecedented for the constituency.
