EKO HOT BLOG reports that the party said it would release its primaries timetable within the week despite ongoing challenges affecting its preparations.
The National Organising Secretary of the party, Chinedu Idigo, made the appeal in an interview in Abuja on Friday, explaining that prolonged internal crises and legal disputes had disrupted the party’s schedule.
He said, “The prolonged legal battle cost us valuable time. It is only fair that INEC provides a window for the ADC to conduct credible primaries for all aspirants.”
Idigo stated that the party was continuing its internal processes and working to meet deadlines.
“We are working round the clock, and we will be releasing our primary timetable within the week,” he added.
The party called on INEC to ensure fairness in the electoral process by accommodating political parties affected by unforeseen circumstances.
According to Idigo, the commission has a responsibility to create a level playing field for all parties participating in the elections.
He also disclosed that the party had recorded significant growth, with more than four million Nigerians registered through its online membership platform.
He said, “As it stands today, the ADC is fast becoming one of the largest political platforms in Nigeria’s democratic history.”
Idigo reaffirmed the party’s determination to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress in future elections.
He said, “We are fully prepared to dislodge the APC, regardless of whatever stumbling blocks may be placed on our path to victory.”
He further described the recent Supreme Court judgment on the party’s leadership as a major relief, noting that it had strengthened the party’s internal stability.

“We will continue to pursue policies that serve the best interests of Nigerians and work towards building a just and egalitarian society,” Idigo said.
