The Confederation of African Football has confirmed that the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations will take place from June 19 to July 17, following approval from the FIFA Council.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that CAF did not specify which of the three co hosts, Uganda, Kenya, or Tanzania, will stage the opening match or the final.
There had been concerns over the readiness of the host nations, but CAF President Patrice Motsepe dismissed fears of a postponement, insisting that preparations are on track.
He had earlier resisted proposals to move the tournament to 2028.

Motsepe expressed confidence in the joint hosting arrangement, stating that efforts are being made to deliver a successful tournament across the three East African countries.
The 2027 edition will be historic as it marks the first time the competition will be hosted across three nations.
It will also represent a return of the tournament to East Africa for the first time since 1976, when Ethiopia staged the competition.
