EKO HOT BLOG reports that despite the celebrations that followed, the encounter proved far from straightforward for the Istanbul giants.
Antalyaspor shocked the home supporters shortly before half-time after Soner Dikmen fired the visitors ahead to silence the stadium.
Galatasaray responded after the break when midfielder Mario Lemina came off the bench to score the equaliser in the 56th minute.
However, Antalyaspor restored their lead just six minutes later as Dikmen grabbed his second goal of the night to make it 2-1.
Osimhen eventually inspired the comeback for the Turkish champions.
The Nigerian striker won and converted a penalty in the 66th minute to level the match at 2-2 before scoring the decisive goal in the 88th minute to complete the turnaround.
Substitute Kaan Ayhan added a fourth goal deep into stoppage time to confirm the victory and spark celebrations across Istanbul.
The latest triumph adds another major achievement to Osimhen’s growing career success.
The former Napoli forward has now recorded either a goal or assist in each of his last 11 league appearances.
His honours list already includes the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, and the Serie A title.
Galatasaray entered the fixture four points ahead of rivals Fenerbahce and required only a positive result to officially secure the title.
Reports in Turkey claimed manager Okan Buruk cancelled a planned holiday after the team’s defeat to Samsunspor last week, while players were reportedly promised a €5 million bonus if they secured the title at home.
Celebrations erupted immediately after the final whistle, with fans flooding parts of Istanbul to celebrate another league triumph.
