- Epe APC members endorse Tinubu for continuity ahead of 2027 election

Members of the All Progressives Congress in Epe gathered in large numbers to participate in the party’s presidential primary election, where President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received overwhelming support for continuity ahead of the 2027 general election.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the exercise attracted prominent APC leaders, stakeholders, party faithful, youths, women groups, and supporters from across Epe Division, creating an atmosphere of unity and solidarity within the ruling party.
Among top political figures present at the exercise were the Deputy Governor of Lagos State and APC governorship candidate, Obafemi Hamzat, Member of the House of Representatives representing Epe Federal Constituency, Wale Raji, and Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Epe Constituency I, Abiodun Tobun.
Other prominent APC leaders at the occasion included Aderemi Adebowale, Oladunjoye, and several party stakeholders across the division.
Speaking during the exercise, Dr. Hamzat praised the leadership style and developmental strides of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a visionary leader committed to national growth, economic reforms, and infrastructural development.
The Deputy Governor noted that the president’s policies and programmes have continued to lay strong foundations for national progress, stressing that continuity remains important for sustaining ongoing reforms and development across the country.
He further commended party members in Epe Division for their peaceful participation, unity, and commitment to democratic processes.
Also speaking, Hon. Abiodun Tobun applauded the peaceful conduct that characterized both the presidential primary election and previous party exercises held across Epe Division.
The lawmaker praised President Tinubu for what he described as courageous leadership and commitment to national transformation, adding that the president remains the best candidate to continue the progressive vision and developmental agenda of the country.
According to Tobun, the administration of President Tinubu has continued to implement policies aimed at improving infrastructure, economic growth, empowerment opportunities, and national stability.
He urged party members and residents not to be distracted by opposition narratives, insisting that the APC remains committed to delivering more dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
“We have seen the good work of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and he remains the only one capable of continuing the progressive development and transformation of Nigeria,” Tobun stated.
Rep. Wale Raji and other party leaders also commended the turnout of party faithful and reaffirmed their support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.
The primary election exercise concluded peacefully amid heavy participation by APC members, further demonstrating the party’s strong grassroots presence across Epe Division.
