A group of suspected illegal immigrants has been apprehended in Odo Egiri New Site, Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Epe, following a coordinated effort by community leaders, local vigilance groups, and concerned residents.

Eko Hot Blog reports that according to information gathered by our correspondent, the suspects had reportedly rented an apartment from a resident identified as Seun. Their presence in the area began to attract attention after residents observed unusual movements and communication difficulties involving the occupants.
Sources within the community disclosed that attempts to interact with the individuals proved unsuccessful, as they were reportedly unable to communicate in English or any known Nigerian language. This development raised concerns among residents, who subsequently alerted community leaders and security stakeholders.
Following reports from members of the community, local security operatives and vigilante personnel launched preliminary inquiries into the matter. The suspects were later apprehended and taken into custody for further questioning.
Seun, the Agent who reportedly rented the apartment to the individuals, was also taken along by security operatives to assist with investigations and provide relevant information regarding the tenancy arrangement and the identities of the occupants.
