- He described the alleged practice as high treason against the country.
- Utomi also called for a 70-year age limit for political office.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Utomi made the remarks in a post shared on his 𝕏 account on Sunday.
According to him, those around the late presidents concealed the true situation and governed in their names, adding that a similar pattern is unfolding again.
Describing the development as “high treason,” Utomi also argued that Nigerians above the age of 70 should no longer seek elective political office.
“Impunity and disregard of decent order have become our way. When Yar’Adua was dying people lied and governed in his name.

“They did the same with Buhari. They are doing so again. This is high treason. This is why I say nobody over 70 should run for office. I am 70 years old,” he wrote.
