Eko Hot Blog reports that the exercise is scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 25, 2026, with participants expected to converge at T-Junction by 7:00 a.m. before proceeding to Berger Bridge, Epe, for the sanitation exercise.
According to the organisers, the initiative is designed to encourage youths to actively contribute to maintaining a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment while fostering unity and community development.
The organisers noted that environmental cleanliness remains a collective responsibility and urged members of both organisations, as well as other well-meaning youths, to participate in the exercise.
Community leaders and residents are expected to benefit from the initiative, which seeks to raise awareness about the importance of environmental hygiene and active citizenship.
Following the clean-up exercise, the July Management Meeting of the NYCN Epe Local Branch will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the NYCN Epe Office, Epe Local Government Secretariat, Ita-Marun.
The organisers called on youths across Epe to turn out in large numbers and demonstrate their commitment to community service through active participation.
“Together, we can create a cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful environment while demonstrating the spirit of unity, volunteerism, and active citizenship,” the organisers said.
