A fire outbreak on Saturday swept through the headquarters of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) in Abuja, damaging the upper floors of the building.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the the incident reportedly began on the fourth floor of the office complex, situated opposite the Central Bank of Nigeria headquarters, before spreading to higher sections of the structure.

Emergency responders, including firefighters, were deployed to the scene and worked to bring the blaze under control.
A social media user, Praises Chukwu, who shared images from the location, said firefighters were making efforts to contain the fire, but the flames continued to spread across the upper part of the building.
Another eyewitness, Anthony Ameh, an employee of Zenith Bank located within the premises, described the fire as severe.
According to him, at least four fire service trucks responded to the incident, but the intensity of the blaze made firefighting efforts difficult.
Authorities had not determined the cause of the fire as of the time of reporting.
There was also no official confirmation of any casualties or details on the extent of damage caused to the building and its contents.
