Award-winning Nollywood filmmaker, director, and box-office star Funke Akindele has officially unveiled the cast for her anticipated feature film, titled The Four: No One Fights Alone, slated for a global cinema debut on December 11, 2026.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the movie, produced under the Funke Akindele Network (FAAN) banner with nationwide and international distribution handled by FilmOne Entertainment, stands as one of the most anticipated Nollywood projects of the year.

The film features an ensemble lineup bringing together major screen actors, musicians, and popular media personalities.
Headlining the cast alongside Funke Akindele herself are veteran actors Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Chioma Akpotha, Bisola Aiyeola, Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, Uzor Arukwe, Ali Nuhu, Wunmi Toriola, Ronke Oshodi Oke, and Antar Laniyan.
The project also stars celebrated vocalist Waje and musician Shoday, alongside media figures including Omotunde Adebowale David (Lolo1), Ireoluwa Olaniyan, John Ekanem, Mide Iwasokun, Samuel Banks, Kolapo Omotosho, Ogbolor, and Ayomide Iwasokun.
Described as a deeply moving drama, The Four centers on friendship, motherhood, sacrifice, and the strength of ordinary women.
Transitioning between the scenic Odu Community and the urban cityscape, the story follows Esosa and three devoted women whose determination to protect a young man they love tests their courage, faith, and shared bond.
The narrative heavily incorporates Nigerian music, fashion, language, and cultural traditions to reflect local identity.
Speaking on the vision behind the film, Akindele, who serves as the project’s writer, director, and producer, noted that audiences expect stories that entertain while capturing genuine human experiences.
She expressed confidence that viewers will see parts of their own lives and relationships reflected in the characters’ journeys.
The project adds to Akindele’s established track record of commercial cinema hits, following major box-office successes like Omo Ghetto: The Saga, Battle on Buka Street, A Tribe Called Judah, Everybody Loves Jenifa, and Behind The Scenes.
