The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has said the party has not yet taken a final decision on its next line of action following the outcome of the Osun State governorship election.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Yilwatda disclosed this on Wednesday while speaking with journalists in Ibadan, Oyo State, where he met with members of the APC reconciliation committee as part of efforts to resolve internal disagreements within the party.

The APC chairman said the party was still studying developments surrounding the Osun election before deciding on the appropriate course of action.
His comments come after the governorship election in which incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The APC had entered the election with strong expectations and had mobilised its national leadership and campaign council for the contest.
Following the election, however, the party has been reviewing the outcome and considering its next steps.
Yilwatda’s visit to Oyo was also focused on reconciliation within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections. He stressed the importance of resolving grievances among members and strengthening the APC’s structures across the state.
The party has been working to reconcile aggrieved members in Oyo following disagreements surrounding its governorship primary.
The APC reconciliation committee, led by Femi Lanlehin, had met with aggrieved aspirants and other stakeholders as part of efforts to address the issues.
Speaking after the meeting, Yilwatda described reconciliation as an ongoing process, stressing that the APC remained a family and that internal disagreements could be resolved through dialogue.

He said the party needed unity to improve its chances in the 2027 elections, particularly in states where it hopes to challenge incumbent opposition parties.
The APC chairman’s comments on Osun come as political parties begin reviewing the results of the off-cycle election and drawing lessons ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Yilwatda had previously described the Osun election as an important test of the APC’s preparedness for the 2027 elections.
The APC has yet to publicly announce whether it will accept the outcome of the Osun election without further action or pursue any formal challenge.
For now, Yilwatda said the party was still considering its position.
