Morka made the claim during an interview with Channels Television on Monday while defending the performance of the Tinubu administration.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the APC spokesman said the president had transformed the country’s economic situation despite inheriting what he described as a severely troubled economy from previous administrations.
According to Morka, the economic indicators under Tinubu speak for themselves and demonstrate the progress made by the current administration.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has outperformed any president in his first term. He has outperformed any democratically elected president in this country in their terms.
“The indicators are res ipsa loquitur as we say in law; they speak for themselves. This president inherited an economy that was completely in a mess.
“Buhari was a stopgap president that really came to keep the country from tipping over the precipice from 16 years of horrific maladministration of the PDP government.
“President Buhari served his term, did his job to hold the country still for President Tinubu to enter,” Morka said.
The APC spokesman argued that the economic policies introduced by Tinubu had helped Nigeria move past some of its major macroeconomic challenges.
He said the country had now “come out of the woods” at the macroeconomic level as a result of measures implemented by the Tinubu administration.
Morka also claimed that some of the president’s critics had begun to acknowledge changes recorded under the administration.
His comments come amid continued debate over the performance of the Tinubu government, particularly its economic policies and their effects on Nigerians.
Since assuming office, Tinubu has implemented major economic reforms, including the removal of the petrol subsidy and changes to the foreign exchange system.
The reforms have generated significant debate, with the government maintaining that they are necessary to strengthen the economy, while critics have raised concerns about their immediate impact on households and businesses.

Morka, however, maintained that the overall economic indicators provide evidence of the administration’s performance and argued that Tinubu had achieved more in his first term than previous democratically elected presidents.
