Akinloye Ismail Receives Award for Financial Management in Lagos LGAs

Hon. Monsuru Akinloye Ismail, the Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has been honored with an award for outstanding prudence in financial management.

Ekohotblog reports that the award was presented by the Conference of Internal Auditors in the Local Government Areas of Lagos State.

The recognition was attributed to the effective financial management system implemented by Akinloye’s administration.

According to Mr. Fatai Aragbada, President of the Body of Internal Auditors, “Akinloye Ismail’s financial prudence attracted the attention of the award committee, which scrutinized the financial activities of the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas in Lagos State.”

The award ceremony was organized based on the three senatorial districts in Lagos State: Lagos West, Lagos Central, and Lagos East. Eredo LCDA and Ibeju Lekki Local Government were recognized for financial prudence in the Lagos East senatorial district.

In his acceptance speech, Akinloye Ismail expressed gratitude for the recognition, describing it as “commendable and encouraging to all other local government areas in Lagos State.”

The event was attended by notable personalities, including Mrs. Ibilola Anifowose, Council Manager of Eredo LCDA; Mr. Oyegunle, Internal Auditor of Ibeju Lekki LCDA; Mr. Wasiu Ijaodola, Internal Auditor of Oriade LCDA; and Mrs. Esther Bankole, Internal Auditor of Eredo LCDA.
